Product Description

Product:  Inorganic Salt Fertilizer - Agriculture Ammonium Sulfate

Molecular formula: (NH4)2SO4

  • Source of Nitrogen: Ammonium sulfate provides a stable and readily available form of nitrogen, which is essential for plant growth. Nitrogen promotes leaf and stem development and increases crop yields.
  • Sulfur Supplement: Sulfur is another essential nutrient that helps in protein synthesis and enzyme function in plants. Ammonium sulfate provides both nitrogen and sulfur in one application, making it highly effective for sulfur-deficient soils.
  • Improves Soil pH: It has an acidifying effect, which can help in reducing soil pH, particularly in alkaline soils. This makes it beneficial for crops that thrive in more acidic conditions.
  • Enhanced Nutrient Absorption: The sulfur in ammonium sulfate helps plants absorb other nutrients more effectively, especially phosphorus, which becomes more available to plants when soil pH is reduced.

FAQ

Q1: What does this product do to the crop?
A: It's suitable for general soil and crops, can make branches and leaves grow vigorously, improve fruit quality and yield, enhance crop resistance to disasters.

Q2: What kind of fertilizer is this suitable for use as a crop fertilizer?
A: Ammonium sulfate can be used as base fertilizer, topdressing fertilizer and seed fertilizer.

Q3: What should I pay attention to when using this product?
A: Do not contact or mix with other alkaline fertilizers or alkaline substances to avoid reducing fertilizer efficiency.
Not suitable for application on acid soil.
It is not suitable to apply ammonium sulfate on the same cultivated land for a long time, otherwise the soil will become sour and cause compaction. If it is necessary to apply, can be appropriate with some lime or organic fertilizer. However, it must be noted that ammonium sulfate cannot be mixed with lime to prevent the decomposition of nitrogen loss. Generally, the combined application of the two should be separated by 3~5 days.
